DC CONSUMER UNITS
Bright Green Energy is pleased to announce a new range of consumer units and isolating switches for DC systems. Designed for use with solar pv and wind turbine systems all isolating units, switches and fuses are designed to meet BS requirements. Our consumer units, available from 2 to 16 way are built using a DIN rail mounting. The busbar supplied has the maximum number of ways for each size of enclosure.
Insulated Consumer Units
The insulated consumer units are manufactured from high impact,
flame retardant, ABS material, coloured magnolia. The removable
transparent hinged cover is manufactured from polycarbonate to
protect the modular devices. The easy to remove cable knockout
entries are on the top, bottom and at the rear of the enclosure. The
range has been designed to comply with BSEN 60439-3.

The insulated consumer units are manufactured from high impact, flame retardant, ABS material, coloured magnolia. Metal Consumer Unit
The metal consumer unit range is manufactured from 1mm CR4 cold reduced mild steel, phosphate pre-treated and powder coated to RAL 7035. Cable knockouts are provided on the top, bottom and rear faces. The hinged metal cover is held in the closed position by a magnet. The range has been designed to comply with BSEN 60439-3
