Bright Green Energy is a specialist in renewable energy products and solutions. We design and install grid connected and off-grid (battery powered) wind and solar renewable energy systems. Based at our office in South Croydon, Capital Business Centre. We design, supply and install a wide range of solar and wind powered systems for all sorts of clients and cover most of the UK. We're growing fast and require excellent people who can make a difference.
We are currently have two vacancies:
Position 1: Sales Support and Admin Assistant
Position 2: Solar PV Installation Electrician
Positions available: 1
Someone with initiative, strong
organisations skills and the ability to deal with multiple activities
is needed to support our day to day office activities. There will be
telephone and email customer enquiries to answer, so a good telephone
manner and excellent English skills are required.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate good
PC skills, including a sound understanding of Microsoft Office
applications and the ability to input and extract data into/from both
our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM, which maintains a
history of all customers’ enquiries and purchases) and our
quotation/invoice system.
In addition, it is necessary to have a good
appreciation of technical issues. Training about specific equipment
will be provided but applicants must have an understanding of the
concepts of voltage, current, power, AC and DC, as well as an
awareness of the renewable energy industry.
This role offers a wide variety of duties
and would suit someone with a strong desire to learn more about the
practicalities of renewable technology. There is also scope for the
right candidate to make a real difference to the company, to help it
expand and to ensure the wide variety of enquiries and
sales/installation activities is dealt with, efficiently.
The role involves assisting the Office
Manager with the following:
- Logging customer enquiry data into the
CRM; flagging up and progressing enquiries that need following up;
- Taking telephone calls; filtering,
prioritising and answering emails;
- Receiving, arranging and despatching
deliveries, including courier liaison;
- Generating quotations and invoices;
processing customers’ card transactions;
- Arranging site visits and stock
purchases;
- Monitoring our website for mistakes;
- Helping to keep the stockroom/workshop
tidy;
- Identifying ways in which we can
improve our business and our efficiency:
- Liaising closely with colleagues and
carrying out work in a variety of other areas appropriate to a
small business;

Position: Permanent. Salaried
You will have a strong electrical background, be able to operate unsupervised and be responsible for all the needs of our clients. You will be able to design and install solar arrays - if you don't know how, we'll teach you; the position also entails providing day to day and strategic support for solar projects and contribute to new business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing solar PV systems;
- Carrying out site surveys -you must have a full driving licence;
- Installing solar PV systems;
- Setting up, delivering and installing solar projects;
- Advising clients on solar PV performance and project design;
- Evaluating new products and suggest ways we can improve our business and client offerings;
- Provide technical support to colleagues and clients;
- Liaising closely with colleagues and work in a variety of other areas appropriate to a small business;
- Be willing to learn and take full responsibility for projects

You will be based out of our office located in South Croydon, Capital Business Centre
You must be a fully qualified Part P, Electrician with 17th Edition Regulations
