Reliable - The yields
of your photovoltaic plant mainly depend on the reliability and long
life of the inverter. SMA only uses components that are designed for
a 20 year performance in the Sunny Boy inverters.
Safe - The SMA
inverters comply with all safety regulations and are naturally CE
compliant. The Sunny Boy inverters for instance are compliant with
the following standards: DIN EN 55014-1, DIN EN 55022, DIN EN
61000-6-3, DIN EN 61000- 6-1, DIN EN 61000-3-12 or 3-4, DIN EN 50178
and DIN VDE 0126. In addition, they have a maximum flexibility for
configuring the grid connections in order to ensure a trouble free
installation and operation, even under the worst utility conditions.
Sturdy - All Sunny
Boys (except for the Sunny Boy 2800i) are equipped with a waterproof
and dust resistant enclosure made of aluminium or stainless steel.
This protects the electronics and lets you install the Sunny Boy
wherever you want–inside or outside.

Sunny Boy inverters are shipped with weatherproof plug connectors
for both AC and DC connection. This reduces installation costs.
Flexible - Sunny Boy

Support - The Sunny
